Marttinen – Youth centre and camp rich in experiences

Marttinen is one of the youth centres funded and overseen by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. Our diverse youth centre is situated in beautiful scenery in Virrat, Central Finland. Marttinen is 100 km from both Tampere and Seinäjoki, 115 km from Jyväskylä and just 270 km from Helsinki.

Marttinen is a pleasant and safe environment for camps, courses, training and other events the year round.

The historic milieu at Youth Centre Marttinen is home to both modern facilities for hosting larger
camps, seminars, conferences and training events as well as esteemed and picturesque venues for weddings and other important days.

We also provide hotel and log cabin accommodation for up to nearly 200 guests, and our catering kitchen offers professional menus for both conferences and parties.

Marttinen is one of the nine national youth centres in Finland. We are located in Virrat, amongst beautiful Finnish lakes and forests. Besides youth centre activities, we offer a wide range of conference and celebration services, as well as comfortable accomodation.
