Youth Centre Marttinen’s Vihta Sauna was awarded a quality label by Sauna from Finland ry
December 2019 Sauna from Finland ry has awarded Youth Centre Marttinen's Vihta Sauna the Authentic Finnish Sauna Experience certificate in recognition of the fact that their sauna faithfully abides by all the core values of the Finnish sauna: authenticity, engagement of multiple sense, presence, relaxation, cleanliness and well-being before, during and after sauna bathing.


Our Vihta Sauna is classified as one of the best saunas in the world. This was verified by the auditor of the association Sauna from Finland ry, Pekka Krook, who granted the Authentic Finnish Sauna Experience certificate to Vihta Sauna during his visit in Marttinen in November 2019. 

Sauna from Finland is a multidisciplinary network of enterprises which aim is to develop the Finnish sauna to offer the best sauna experience in the world. Authentic Finnish Sauna Experience certificate is granted for two years at a time to the sauna which gives a comprehensive and multisensorial sauna experience including recognizable and high-quality elements and the core values. The core values are authenticity, multisensoriality, presence and relaxation, wellbeing and health, contrast, cleanliness, safety and responsibility.

December 2017 the brand new Vihta Sauna got the Authentic Finnish Sauna Experience certificate for the first time. To renew the label requires constant care and development in which we have succeeded.
