A wedding in Marttinen’s culturally historic and idyllic environment is one to remember. The Old Vicarage’s beautiful and pleasant halls provide the event with a solemn atmosphere. We will help you plan the celebration right from the start. Our kitchen has been widely praised for its excellent banquet menus.

The Old Vicarage’s (1892) beautiful and pleasant halls provide the celebration with a peaceful atmosphere. Our kitchen staff handle the catering with care, and our personnel will help in planning the event right from the start.

• The building’s largest room is the Tarjanne Hall which can be furnished to seat up to 90 people.

Programme and additional services for the celebration

You can order additional services for your celebration through Marttinen; including services ranging from performers to photographers. Read more here. Physical activities, an obstacle course for children or a trip to the Virrat Heritage Village are also excellent activities to be included in your celebration.

Housing for guests

Guests are housed in two-person rooms in our log cabin apartments. The apartments have 3–4 bedrooms, a shared lounge and a sauna. The log cabin apartments can house a total of 86 people. If required, our two-, four- and six-person hotel rooms can be used to house more people.

Breakfast is available in the main building of the Marttinen Youth Centre.

At Marttinen, you can organise a memorable bachelor or bachelorette party in one place without the need for you and your friends to move from one place to another. Accommodation in cosy eight-person log cabins, delicious meals, a versatile range of activities and a sauna. In the memorable setting at Marttinen’s, you can organise your friend a bachelor or bachelorette party that they will look back on with joy.

The day’s programme:

• Sauna snack, fun time spent together bathing in the sauna facilities

The bachelor and bachelorette party packages include a welcome coffee, bread roll, lunch, sauna snack and breakfast, use of the sauna and the sauna facilities, accommodation in two-person rooms in a log cabin apartment, linens.
VAT is included in the price. The minimum group size is 10 people.

• Ice climbing, duration: 2.5 h
• Rock climbing, duration: 4 h
• Cable sliding, duration: 1 h
• High rope track, duration: 2.5 h
• Abseiling at Lake Toriseva, duration: 4 h.

Marttinen’s climbing instructors have passed the Finnish Climbing Association’s rope activity instructor courses 1–3 (KTO) and are qualified in supervising safe climbing experiences.

The Marttinen conference and celebration venue offers an atmospheric setting for family reunions in the culturally historic environment of the Island of Marttinen. Whether your family is large or small, we have the facilities that best suit your needs for both informal mingling and for presentations that require conference technology.

Marttinen’s services for family reunion guests

Marttinen Youth Centre has a multipurpose hall that seats up to 200 people as well as other conference facilities equipped with presentation systems and wireless internet access.

You can order a tasty buffet lunch from Marttinen’s kitchen. The lunch includes two warm dishes, a warm vegetarian side dish, three salads, breads and spreads, drinks, dessert and coffee. Meals can be organised in the peaceful and festive setting of the Marttinen Old Vicarage.

You can order additional services to your celebration via Marttinen; for example, performers, photography, decoration or transportation. Read more here. There is a chapel right by the Marttinen Old Vicarage. In the summer time, this chapel, which seats 50 people, is available for events including christenings, weddings or memorial ceremonies.
