About us

ForestWell

Last spring, Youth Centre Marttinen had the opportunity to join the Forestwell project through Anu Nylund / Mood of Finland. We were delighted to take part in the creation of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) that brings together forests, tourism, and wellbeing in an engaging online learning journey.

Discover how forests, wellbeing, and tourism can be combined to create meaningful and impactful experiences. The ForestWell MOOC offers an inspiring and timely perspective in a world where stress and fast-paced living challenge everyday wellbeing. The course explores the wellbeing effects of forests and teaches how these benefits can be integrated into sustainable tourism and wellbeing experiences. Learning is enriched with innovative digital tools, including elements of augmented reality.

The course helps you understand the ForestWell concept, develop creative marketing campaigns, design meaningful experiences, and strengthen local communities through storytelling.

Who is it for?

Professionals and students in tourism, forestry, and wellbeing; entrepreneurs; nature enthusiasts; and anyone interested in combining nature, health, and sustainable business.
